Empower God Through Faith

"I am a worthless student." "I could never get into that College." "If you climb trees you will fall and I will have to take you to the hospital." "If you drive in that weather you are going to kill yourself." I can't do that." All these statements empower the things they speak about. What about this? "We are under the attack of Satan." "Satan is at work in our church." "I am afraid that the devil with deceive me." Should we speak like this? All of our fears spoken or unspoken come from the father of fear and lies, the devil. You give invitation by your faith in bad things happening to you. Are you afraid of cancer? Are you afraid you will get in a car accident? Are you afraid you will drown? Are you afraid you will die young? All of these fears are not from God. If you empower these things you will be delivered over to them by faith in them through ungrace. If on the other hand you believe God will keep you and help you, you will be saved by grace through faith.

This is a picture of the central Chapel of the Jesuit ruins near where I will be going in Paraguay. When I went to Paraguay a few years ago to visit the Kurrles we met a Consulate of Paraguay and he became our friend. We had a real struggle to enter Paraguay because it was late but he helped us so that we got through the border in time to have lunch which he payed for and he took us for a peek at the Jesuit ruins. We got access to arias that were normally closed off.

Argentina and Paraguay

I will be going to Argentina for a short time and then to Paraguay to work with the Kurrles I am looking forward to a wonderful year in South America! Whats up?

That question, "Whats up?" always has been strange to me. You really do not hear it in Australia where I lived for nine years. It is just America. You know, God really is what is up. God is doing great things for us right now. God is up and doing lots of things. We the Bendele family are growing in prayer. We all were praying on our own last month but this month we began to pray together in a way that we have not done before. We used to pray together but this is different, we are winning battles together now. God is removing the vale from the eyes of unsaved friends. You should pray for God to remove the vale from the eyes of those who seem to be unable to understand what Christ and Christianity is REALLY about. When we started to pray this way we saw a leap of understanding in one of our friends.
